Le Creuset Terms of Sale

1. Introduction:

Le Creuset Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (ā€œLe Creusetā€, ā€œweā€, ā€œusā€, ā€œourā€, ā€œoursā€) is a company registered in Malaysia with company registration number 201001043254 operating this website www.lecreuset.com.my (ā€œWebsiteā€). Our partner, U.S. Direct E-Commerce Limited, trading as eShopWorld (ā€œCheckout Partnerā€) is operating the checkout page (ā€œCheckout Pageā€) of the Website. 


2. Prices:

2.1 All prices as displayed on the Website will be in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are exclusive of delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due. The applicable delivery costs will be clearly displayed during the checkout process.


2.2 Due to the large number of products on the Website it is always possible that some of the products listed on the Website may be incorrectly priced, despite our best efforts. If the product you ordered was incorrectly priced, we will contact you and inform on the price difference. Our Checkout Partner will cancel the incorrectly priced product and proceed with refund.


2.3 Prices are subject to change without notice; hence any subsequent purchases of the same product cannot be guaranteed at the same price.

3. Formation of Contract  

3.1 Your transaction and contract will be with our Checkout Partner and not with us.


3.2 The technical steps required for the formation of the contract are as follows: 


3.2.1 You place the order for your products on the Checkout Page by pressing the confirm order button at the end of the checkout process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Checkout Page.


3.2.2  Our Checkout Partner will send you an acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. 


3.2.3  The Contract between you and our Checkout Partner will only be formed when you receive the order confirmation email from our Checkout Partner.


3.2.4 Our  Checkout Partner  will then send you a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number.    


3.3 All orders are subject to acceptance by our Checkout Partner and availability of the product. Non-acceptance of an order may be due to one of the following:


  • a. The product you ordered being unavailable from stock.  
  • b. Our Checkout Partnerā€™s inability to obtain  
  • c. The identification of a pricing or product description error.
  • d. Not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in our Checkout Partnerā€™s Terms & Conditions.


3.4 We will inform you that your order has been rejected and will not be processed. If you have already paid for the order, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.  

4. Delivery Information

4.1 Orders from the Website can only be delivered to Malaysia addresses and that in placing an order the customer confirms that s/he is purchasing the product within Malaysia.


4.2 We currently offer one delivery option:

Standard West & East Malaysia RM 38 (FREE if purchase is above RM 800) ā€“ delivery in 2 to 5 business days


4.3 Please note that business days are from Monday to Friday, but exclude public holidays. Every effort will be made to meet these delivery timelines.

5. Order status confirmation

5.1 Please refer to My Page order history to check your order status.


5.2 After shipping, you can also contact the delivery partner assigned by our Checkout Partner by using the tracking number that has been sent to you by email.

6. Order delivery information modification

6.1 Before shipping, we cannot make any changes to your order delivery information. Please ensure that your information is correctly filled in during the checkout process.


6.2 After shipping, you may try to contact the delivery partner assigned by our Checkout Partner using the tracking number that has been sent to you by email. 

7. Product Exchange/Refund

7.1 We do not accept any return for product(s) purchased through the Website. 


7.2 Upon proper examination by our customer service team, product(s) can only be exchanged in the following circumstances:-

a. incorrect item(s) delivered;

b. defective item(s) delivered; or

c. broken item(s) delivered.


We do not accept any exchange for other reasons.


7.3 Since part of the manufacturing process is done by hand, colour unevenness, white spots, black spots, yellow spots, bubbling, marks, small holes and dimension variations may occur. These variations do not affect product performance and are not considered as defective. Hence these are not covered under the exchange policy. For more details, please contact our customer service team. Our customer service team will assist you in case you have a dispute about a defective item.


7.4 Should you wish to exchange any product(s) pursuant to paragraph 7.2 above, please contact our Customer Service team within 7 days from the date of receipt of your order by email to enquiries.my@lecreuset.com (open from Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm, excludes public holidays). When you contact us, we will establish the reason for the exchange.


7.5 All product exchange(s) are subject to the stock availability. In the event if we are unable to exchange for the same product, we will proceed to refund after product inspection by our Customer Service team.


7.6 For product exchange, you must return the entire product unused and undamaged, in the original product packaging including the accessories, care and use booklet and all labels. 


7.7 In case of acceptance of an exchange, please use the return label provided by our Checkout Partner and we will absorb the postage

8. Payment

8.1    Please refer to our Checkout Partnerā€™s Terms and Conditions for the accepted payment methods.

9. Description & Availability of Goods

9.1 Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. 


9.2 The images of the products on our Website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images. Please be informed that this does not constitute a reason for product exchange.


9.3 Stock availability will be shown on the Website, and whilst we endeavour to ensure products are always available, there may be times when products will be temporarily out of stock. In these instances, there is an option that can be selected to receive notification once the product is back-in-stock, and you will receive an automated email from us. Please be informed that the product may be sold out immediately after the back-in-stock notification.
